We found the cottage very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for the tour of the productive farm and the delicious fruit for breakfast. First time eating eggfruit and enjoyed. We even caught a glimpse of the native Hawaiian Hawks… We spent one rainy day in the park hiking the lava beds and rainforest. The Kapoho tide pools were amazing, all the beaches gorgeous. Mahalo!”

Four nights and three days at Hawaiian Retreat! What an amazing adventure! We’re on our honeymoon and decided to enjoy our retreat in the midst of the jungle between five days in Maui, and four days in Waikiki. Being from the city, this was a fabulous escape (so refreshing and natural to sleep nearly outdoors even with the rain!). Saw the lava flow into the ocean and wam in the ocean in the tide pools. What a great side of the Big Island!”

“BEYOND WORDS! I came here for a week with the intention of having a gateway eperience for my 55th birthday. That I did and then some. Even though I struggle for words to describe this experience, one does come to mind… MAGICAL. From the moment I got here whatever I wanted would be there. Even when I was cooking… And the fruit has been unbelieveable! I’m used to leaving fruit around for a few days to ripen. This was ready to eat in the basket.
